  6. It looks like some people had crash-problems with
  7. WarpHeretic 1.3 (but 1.1 worked fine). On my
  8. system both worked fine. But i changed some
  9. things, hopefully it works again now. Also this
  10. version is a - slightly slower - Debug-Version.
  11. Included are docs how you can report a crash
  12. - if one still happens - in a way, that i can
  13. identify the source-code line which caused the
  14. crash. Remember, this is still a very early
  15. version (not even sound yet present). But
  16. it will continue to develop and soon be a full
  17. port, including sound and everything :)

  19. This is the WarpUP port of the 3D game Heretic.
  20. Heretic is a doom-style-game basing on the
  21. Doom-Engine done by Ravensoft who just recently
  22. released the source.

  24. This is the first release, there will be new
  25. releases with more features later.

  30. - Screen/Window Display
  31. - GFX Board and AGA
  32. - TCP/IP *might* already work

  34. No sound yet, this will be next.

  37. version and a Hexen port. And PPC ASM Optimization.

  40. This game underlies the original copyright by Ravensoft.
  41. The executable can be freely copied, but the datafile
  42. from Ravensoft is NOT to be freely copied, you need
  43. to buy it or get the Shareware version from ftp.cdrom.com.
